The proposal provides 40 new homes for social rent, across four new infill buildings within the estate. There is a high proportion of family homes, along with wheelchair-accessible homes. The new buildings are designed to be sympathetic in scale, material and detail to the existing estate.

The estate’s open spaces are comprehensively remodelled to reduce car-dominance and provide a more pedestrian-friendly environment. Existing mature trees are augmented with new trees and landscaping, children’s play facilities and allotments. With a stronger central shared access, the estate provides new opportunity for recreation and interaction for all existing and new residents.
