Founded in 1954, by Raymond J. Playle, as Chartered Quantity Surveyors we have extended our services to include Architecture, Building Surveying, Contract Management, Party Wall Advice, Access Consultancy and Principal Designer/CDM Consultant, providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ solution across a range of projects. The practice, which has offices in Sidcup, Ipswich, London and Surrey, is a Limited Liability Partnership.

Since the introduction of the Building Surveying department in 1995, the company has continued to provide high standards of services to a variety of public and private sector clients within the UK. Playle & Partners LLP have successfully provided CDM/Principal Designer Services for over 22 years. These projects range in value from £20,000 to over £90 million, the majority of which have been on occupied sites. We are aware of the challenges that projects pose and these have always been carefully assessed and managed to allow the completion of a large number of successful projects. We hold a number of Accreditations including CHAS and the Association of Project Safety.
As a result of our commitment and professionalism as well as attention to detail we continue to expand our client base, obtain additional work from existing clients and successfully deliver professional services to our clients.

Playle & Partners LLP is committed to the implementation of BIM and fully supports its collaborative working to achieve effective and efficiently designed, constructed and managed projects. We are a strong advocate for collaboration and utilising BIM processes that will support the team and Client with increased efficiency, value and accuracy on projects. Successful implementation of BIM will assist in the delivery of the contract through reduced project risk, reduced waste and through avoiding issues such as lack of coordination which can lead to cost or health & safety implications.
