Newham Hospital London, CT Prism TK

This project consisted of the installation of a new CT Scanner (Computed Tomography Scanner) at Newham Hospital to allow for additional scanning capacity in a busy department.

The CT scanner has been introduced to support outpatient and routine scans at Newham Hospital to help deliver and support faster diagnosis for patients.

The new scanner will allow the hospital to expand its offering to include Bariatric Patient imaging. Newham Hospital is now one of the only hospitals in the country currently providing CT service for Bariatric Patients. With the capacity to carry out 12,500 scans a year, this machine will be open to patients from other hospitals in the Barts Health group, and in due course to others across the whole of north east London.
