The modernization of a traditional victorian church creating a modern, bright and contemporary place of worship, including the provision of a new balcony.

Services

Playle & Partners LLP were appointed as Principal Designer on this project to assist the developer, McCulloch Homes and the design team with their compliance duty in relation to the Construction Design Management Regulations 2015. Playle & Partners carried out design risk reviews at development stages to ensure that there was minimal risk to the constructor and end user.

Timber frame construction was utilised which meant that the programme could be accelerated.

The project was completed in 2021. 

Beaulieu Park was the winner of the ‘Residential Super Major’ category at the Medway Housing Awards 2022. 

‘The judges considered that this is an organic and characterful development, which is playful and joyful in its layout, form, variety and design.

The layout has been moulded to create a strong sense of character, is confident in its design and emphasises the importance of open space, healthy living, with play and children at the heart of its community’.
