Meridian House

Undertaken as a specialist cladding remediation project, Meridian House in Ashford involves the full design and delivery of façade replacement works for Clarion Housing Group. Playle & Partners continue to provide project management and Employer’s Agent services, with all design elements coordinated and delivered under a comprehensive Design and Build approach.

Lawtech Construction were appointed as the main contractor for the works, leading the Design and Build process by preparing the full suite of designs, securing planning approval, and submitting the required Building Control applications.

Independent fire safety specialists Fraigneux have supported the scheme throughout, ensuring ongoing compliance with current fire safety standards.

The works include the installation of new fire barriers, the replacement of façades with a combination of tiled and rendered finishes, balcony decking and balustrade upgrades, as well as improvements to the car park decking and surrounding areas.
The project is now nearing completion, with the final stages progressing successfully.
