Playle & Partners LLP were appointed by a private client to provide designs for a new high end new single storey extension to his house set out over two levels. Extension stepped down into the garden to make the least impact on neighbouring properties for planning reasons. Bi-fold doors and glazed roofs were used in all areas of the extension. The extension comprised a garden room which fully opened to the garden a link area with large steps to also act as seating, located alongside a feature fireplace and electric flue, a study area, glass ceilinged link area and a small kitchen and shower room.
