Mandeville Primary School

This project for Hertfordshire County Council involved the construction of a new classroom block with ancillary areas in order to allow for a 1FE to 2FE expansion (inclusive of 420 pupils) at Mandeville Primary School with a capacity for 3FE. The new two storey block is inclusive of eight classrooms with associated storage space, four group rooms, a 180m2 Hall and associated office and auxiliary areas. Internal refurbishment works were also be carried out and as well as the extension of the existing school building to provide a new lobby, reception, staff room and kitchen to accommodate the increase in pupil numbers.

To meet Hertfordshire County Council’s environmental requirements, the new building is Net Zero Carbon in Operation.
