Garrison Road

Following the successful completion of several projects for Clarion Housing Group, P&P were once again commissioned to carry out fire remediation works to 15nr blocks ranging from three to four storeys to rectify the absence of cavity barriers across the buildings to restrict the spread of fire between compartments.

The works complied with Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Consolidated Guidance 2020.

The full scope of works was defined by the contractor in agreement with the Clients Fire Engineer. A number of challenges were faced during the project, such as agreeing a suitable location for the site compound/ welfare units and working on buildings which remained in occupation.
