East Sheen Primary School

The project consists of the replacement of two twin modular classroom blocks with a permanent building.
The existing modular classroom blocks were demolished and a new four classroom modular teaching block was created to accommodate four classrooms, a group room and associated facilities.

Modern methods of construction were used, with the choice of a modular block agreed based on many factors, partially due to the existing school footprints that could not facilitate expansion through building extensions and any traditional building would have a detrimental impact on the daily school operations. Playle & Partners provided full multi-disciplinary services for this project.
