Playle and Partners role was to undertake Building Owner Surveyor on behalf of Westminster City Council, providing asset protection service to the whole of the surrounding neighbourhood.

The Church Street Regeneration project is an ambitious central urban regeneration project being undertaken by Westminster over a ten year period. Decia Roberts of Playle & Partners LLP was appointed as Westminster’s Surveyor in 2019, and acted on their behalf in respect of three sites in a close geographical area. This provided 77 new homes built across the three sites to provide 28 affordable homes and a further 49 private sale units where income generated was invested back into affordable local housing. Playle & Partners undertook Party Wall matters with 23 adjoining owners, including London Underground and a telecommunications company and in excess of 50 properties for asset protection surveys.
