Pelin Erginsoy

Associate – Quantity Surveyor

Pelin joined Playle & Partners in 2014.  Having completed a history degree a few years prior, she decided to change her career path and started off as a junior in the QS Team, before completing her master’s in quantity surveying. Since then, Pelin has gone on to achieve Chartered status and is a Member of the RICS. After being promoted to Junior Associate Partner, she progressed to the role of Associate Partner.

Pelin has worked on a diverse portfolio, gaining experience working for both public and private sector clients on varied projects including refurbishments to existing buildings and new build schemes, such as NHS clinics, children’s centres, libraries, bus stations, schools and museums.

Her main client base is Local Authorities and as such is well versed in the intricacies of Gateway stages and the associated various reporting methods required.

Pelin is proficient in conducting detailed measurements for Cost Plans and Bills of Quantities, evaluating Tender Returns in terms of quality and price, and compiling a detailed Tender Report for the Client, as well as conducting valuations and producing financial statements for the Client to ensure cost management throughout.

Pelin is experienced in cost planning, contract administration and financial reporting, with a collaborative approach when working alongside design teams, local authorities and specialist consultants.
