Paul Davies

Associate – Building Surveyor / Clerk of Works

Paul has been in the construction industry since 1987; he is a versatile and experienced professional with both a contracting and client background.

He joined Playle & Partners as a Building Surveyor with a demonstrated history of proactive and reactive maintenance, HHSRS, refurbishments, DDA, damp and mould especially in social housing and new build developments. Paul subsequently achieved MCIOB membership and was promoted to Associate Partner.

Paul has been involved with the management of sub-contractors from varying disciplines in new builds, refurbishments, schools, colleges, hospitals, MOD, MOJ, banking sector, care homes and social housing dwellings.

He has been involved from inception through to completion on many projects dealing with clients, designers, residents, end users, health & safety, condition surveys, monitoring R&D surveys, quality monitoring, regular update report writing, WIP reports, hand overs, defect analysis, collation of O&M’s.

His skills include planning and organising work, managing health & safety, quality monitoring, working knowledge of contractual, legal and commercial issues, leadership and strategic management, developing people and teams.
