On Tuesday 30th September, the team at Playle & Partners once again joined in the Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising money to support life-changing cancer research and those living with cancer.
We’re thrilled to share that we smashed our initial fundraising target of £100, reaching an amazing £126!
The table was packed with delicious treats — from a Brazilian Swiss roll with guava jam and a raspberry and amaretti crunch cake, to Welsh cakes and even a tiramisu cake (shop-bought, after a home-bake mishap — but every slice counts!).
After much tasting and debate, the winning bake was Liam’s irresistible bourbon biscuit chocolate brownies. He proudly took home the coveted Playle’s Baker of the Year apron — though he later confessed it rightfully belonged to his wife, who did most of the baking!
