The event took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on 28 June 2018 and saw a number of the Playles Team in attendance. The evening saw the industry’s best come together for a drinks reception, three course dinner and after party, to celebrate talented companies and individuals. Competition was stiff and as an SME we were proud to be there as finalists in two categories; People Development & Best SME.
Playle & Partners are hugely honoured to be named the outright winner of the People Development Award. This is a fantastic achievement for us and this is a true testament to our commitment to our staff. The judges’ comments were positive, with Steve Hayman Director of Cheesmur Building Contractors stating that our “commitment to staff welfare, and high level of investment in training per employee, resulted in impressive and positive outcomes which are fundamental to maintaining a successful business with an excellent reputation in the industry.”
It was great to see so many familiar faces at the event and congratulations to all the finalists and winners in all the awards categories. The Playles table also won another award, the Maggie Philbin Most Noisy Table Award!
