Arena School

Oasis Academy Arena is a mixed, non-selective secondary school in Croydon for children aged 11 – 16.

The project aim was to create a Secondary Academy, with a particular focus on sports and science rooted in the local community, to which local families are confident to send their children. The Project developed the existing site to include the education briefed area of 9,241 sq m area and in addition further new- build accommodation was built for the arena management team.

A new Multi- Use Games Area and landscaping improvements close to the Arena tram stop were also provided.

A strong relationship with the neighbouring community was a key focus of the project. The building and grounds was designed to facilitate the safe out-of-school-hours use by the community.
