Granard Primary School
The works at Granard Primary School were split into 2 phases. The first phase was the conversion of the ground floor of a modern block to accommodate two early years SEN classes and associated specialist support such as sensory and therapy rooms.

This phase also included a complete replacement of the aluminium windows to the Junior Wing, a 1950’s building that was to be refurbished internally in the future phases.
The second phase comprised two sections, firstly refurbishment of five unused classrooms in the Junior Wing, to allow the decant of the top floor of the new block.
Secondly the conversion of the first floor of the new block to create 3 further SEN classrooms and associated specialist accommodation for soft play and therapy. This phase also included an extensive external works package to provide a new outside environment for the SEN early years to be used for both teaching and play.
The final works consisted of a site wide fire alarm upgrade ensuring compliance with modern standard providing a safe and secure site wide environment.
