Paddock Wood SEND School

This expansion project is situated at Broadwater Primary & Infant School, Southwest London, built circa 1915. The works involved asbestos removal, soft strip-out, demolition of the early learning and other outbuildings inclusive of an enclosed pool area, as well as the refurbishment of the existing 3 storey block and construction of a new 2 storey building, along with a new sub-station and soft informal and social areas.  The expansion has provided 64 additional SEND spaces.

This new 4,220m2 site also boasts larger classrooms and outdoor spaces, offering improved resources for the children. The improved space houses an onsite café run by the pupils, which is open to the public. This cafe is instrumental in helping to enhance the students skills in school as well as within their community.

The P&P team worked with contractors Willmott Dixon to ensure works were completed in time for students to start the new academic year September 2025.

Environmental ratings include NZCiO, BREEAM “Outstanding”, Urban Greening Factor under Local Plan 0.3.
