Speedwell Centre

The Speedwell Centre in New Cross underwent a thoughtful internal refurbishment, enhacing its functionality and comfort to better serve its mental health services. The ambitious remodelling project included revitalising key areas such as the clinic room, meeting spaces, kitchen and storage rooms.

The clinic room was expanded to offer a more spacious environment with dedicated storage, while the meeting room was redesigned to provide a welcoming lobby, a private interview room, as well as a separate meeting room. What was once a kitchen was converted into a modern staff WC, and the previous storage room now houses a practical kitchenette and additional storage. Each area received a fresh upgrade, featuring new ceilings, wall and floor finishes, as well fixtures and fittings. Enhanced lighting, data and power outlets, dado trunking and extractor fans were installed to ensure a well-equipped, efficient environment.

The Speedwell Centre’s upgraded spaces now offer improved functionality, privacy and comfort-raising the standard of care provided within this important mental health facility.
