Having previously worked with Clarion Housing Group on Fire Remediation projects to achieve EWS1 certification at Orchard Village, Oliver Road, Maidstone Road and Tower Point, 8 Richmond Road is another project where we were able to work alongside the contractors to develop and deliver a quality project on time and within budget for the client.  The Project was to address the  lack of cavity barriers across the building to re-strict the spread of fire between compartments. The full scope of works were  defined by the Contractor in agreement with the Fire Engineer (Fraigneux) to achieve EWS1 certification and Building Control sign  off. The works complied with Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and the Consolidated Guidance 2020.

Pockets of brickwork were removed to allow the installation of Horizontal and vertical fire barriers at floor slab and along  compartments walls. The brickwork was then replaced.
