Earlier this year Playle & Partners made a donation towards a Wellbeing Garden at St Olaves Grammar School in Kent. They said:
“St. Olave’s fundraising towards the development of a legacy Wellbeing Garden project stemmed from a desire to create a quiet, reflective space for students who need time away from the hustle and bustle of the school day.
This project is of great significance -the wellbeing of our students is paramount, and we believe children’s mental health and wellbeing is of vital importance in their academic journey. This innovative project aims to further support the pastoral care already in place to foster and support good mental health in all our Olavians.
A huge thanks to the generosity of school community, Old Olavians, and our trusted school suppliers. We have completed Stage 1 of the Wellbeing Garden project and hope to move on to Stage 2 shortly, which includes new easy access gates and further shaded seating areas for students, through further fundraising. “
