A new dining area was created in the new teaching block, to become the College’s main refectory. A performance hall was also created , which is open to the public outside of College hours.

The development is the Dartford campus, which is located on the outskirts of Dartford, Kent with main access from Oakfield Lane. The area for redevelopment is a largely undeveloped part of the North Kent College campus approximately 200m north of the main college building. The works were carried out within a “live” college environment.  Playle & Partners utilised their experience of working within occupied sites to coordinate the logistics plan with the contractor.
