This project involved the phased fire precaution, remodelling, and general upgrade works to Newham University Hospital where Playle & Partners undertook the Principal Designer work for the duration of the works.The project was carried out during the Pandemic with live COVID wards and so special consideration was given to the health, safety and welfare of all involved in the project including staff, patients, neighbours and visitors. This involved heavy coordination between many of the NHS teams and well as the project team.
