The top-to-toe remodeling and refurbishment project looked to create a two storey library and digital access centre with increased study space, meeting pods, extended casual seating areas all packed with state-of-the-technology. Also an area dedicated to learning resources for students and children, and an area specializing in local history with museum space to celebrate the area’s history was created.

The refurbishment saw the original Edmonton Green Library transformed into a modern brightly lit space perfect for students and children to research and learn. Choosing the right lighting for this refurbishment, provided by Apollo Lighting, helped to further enhance the look and feel of the final finish. The refurbishment also included an upgrade to the mechanical and electrical installations and a new lift installation to improve DDA access.

“Edmonton Green Library is a much-loved facility and we are very excited by the investment in its future. These changes help bring to life this important hub, which will benefit all manner of community groups, students and locals.”
