Richard Boother Dip QS, FRICS, MAPM (Managing Partner)
Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Managing Partner for Playle & Partners LLP.
 
Richard joined the practice in 1980, becoming a partner in 1986 and Managing Partner in 1995. Richard also heads up the Ipswich office and leads the Playle & Partners' Mansfield team.
 
Originally qualifying in 1972 as a Quantity Surveyor and following Post Graduate courses in Management, he now leads our Social Housing Group and also specialises in Project Management and dispute arbitration.

John Farrow BSc (Hons), MRICS (Partner)
Chartered Quantity Surveyor involved in all aspects of Quantity Surveying, Employer's Agent and Project Management work in the public, commercial, banking and education sectors.
 
After completing a degree in Quantity Surveying at Liverpool, John joined the practice in 1979, becoming a partner in 1987.
 
John is based in Sidcup and is involved in all aspects of Quantity Surveying and specialises in Project Management and Expert Witness work.

Paul Turner MRICS (Partner)
Chartered Quantity Surveyor providing services to commercial, financial, private and public sector clients, with specialist skills in the police sector.
 
Paul joined Playle & Partners in 1975 and qualified with the RICS in 1986 becoming a Partner in 1988.
 
Paul is based in Sidcup works in all disciplines of Quantity Surveying and specialises in M&E measurement, dispute resolution and Public Sector works with intimate knowledge of its special requirements.

David Burn Dip Arch RIBA (Partner)
Chartered Architect with over 30 years experience in both the private and public sectors.
  
Having held senior posts with a local authority and two major Housing Associations, David joined Playle & Partners as a partner in 2000. David's design experience includes social housing both new build and refurbishment, educational buildings, including nurseries and primary schools, office developments and refits, and particular experience of work to Listed Buildings  and designing for the disabled.

Other experience covers, procurement including Partnering, planned and responsive maintenance, dealing with design and construction failures including rectification and building related litigation, and acting as 'expert witness' for disabled people in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases.

Jon Badcock BSc, MRICS (Partner)
Chartered Building Surveyor leading the building surveying team at Sidcup and involved in all aspects of Building Surveying work and CDM Co-ordination.
 
A Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Jon joined Playle & Partners in 2000 as a Senior Building Surveyor and became an Associate in 2002.
 
Becoming a partner in 2004, Jon now leads the building surveying team at Sidcup.

Simon Green BSc, MRICS, MCIOB (Associate)
 
Chartered Quantity Surveyor. Simon joined the Partnership in 2001 having previosly spent 20 years working in a number of senior management roles for a leading national contractor.

Simon now works in all disciplines of quantity surveying and specialises in cost management, contract procurement and contract administration.

        

Chartered Architect who has built up a wide range of
experience in design, project managemenr and contract administration. Involved in new build and renovation, he
has developed particular skills and experience in the
education sector.
 
Dominic joined Playle & Partners as an Architectural
Graduate in 2003 and became a Registered Architect in
2007. He was appointed an Associate in 2009.

         Decia Roberts

Chartered Building Surveyor providing a wide range of
building surveying skills and specialist experience in party
wall matters.
 
Decia was elected a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1991, joining Playle & Partners in
1995 as a Building Surveyor.
 
Decia was appointed an Associate in 2002.

        David Rogerson (Associate)

David is Partnership Manager responsible for the administration financial and IT management of the Partnership.

Nigel Hoad Dip (QS), FRICS, MAPM (Consultant)
Chartered Quantity Surveyor working in a wide range of Quantity Surveying, Employer's Agent and Project Management work.
 
Nigel joined Playle & Partners in 1978 and qualified with the RICS in the same year, becoming a partner in 1990.
 
Retiring from the partnership in 2004 and Nigel now acts as a consultant for Playle & Partners based in Sidcup.
