As you may have seen from our social feeds, Playle & Partners LLP has been undertaking the Investors In People accreditation process. The Partners are delighted to announce that the Gold standard has been awarded to the Practice. This is a fantastic achievement and has involved months of hard work and dedication by all staff.
Our accreditation lasts for the next three years and, in line with IIP’s recommendations, we will continue to look to make improvements in people management throughout the organisation.

The assessment clearly revealed a number of key strengths within the business. The strongest areas are: Leading and inspiring others; Living the values; Involving and empowering people and Building Capability. Staff undoubtedly believe that Playle & Partners is a great place to work.
Playle & Partners has a strong track record in ‘growing their own’, with a huge investment in degrees, professional qualifications, chartered membership and ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Most of the partners, associates and senior staff have been developed by the business and this commitment continues with work experience, placements, internships and degree apprenticeships. All staff take part in the school, college and university careers fairs and milk rounds. As a result, the Company has been shortlisted for the best SME in the Constructing Excellence awards and nominated (after winning in 2017) again for the ‘People Development’ award from Bexley Council. Over the past few years, the Partners have devolved leadership responsibilities and all staff have grown their roles and take accountability for the success of the business. Playle & Partners is clearly a values-driven business which focuses on service delivery. Staff clearly live these values and enjoy working as part of the ‘one team’ culture.

The key focus for Playle & Partners is to continue to build capability and devolve leadership to enable the future security and growth of the business. The next step to achieve this will be to define the future capabilities needed for leaders and establish CPD/ ‘expresso’ training on leadership soft skills. Further enhancing the coaching culture through leadership skill development will also support the move to a high performing organisation.
