Playle & Partners LLP are delighted to be celebrating our 60th anniversary!
In 1954 the yearly inflation rate was 1.9%. The average house price was 1,970 pounds and the average cost of a new car was 326 pounds.
1954 also saw the end of rationing – 14 years of food rationing ended when restrictions on the sale and purchase of meat and bacon were lifted.
Founded by Raymond J Playle, Playle & Partners was started in 1954 as Chartered Quantity Surveyors.
Since then Playle and Partners have grown to be a multidisciplinary practice, becoming a limited liability practice in 2006.
2014 will be a celebratory year for us, and we will be organising events to mark the occasion.
